Carol Miller Schaefer

Carol Miller Schaefer, who served as director of campus stores at North Dakota State University, Fargo, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is the 18th recipient of the Brian Cartier Distinguished Service Award. The award, established in 2002, is the highest honor awarded by the NACS Foundation and recognizes extraordinary leadership, service, and dedication to the college store industry.

About the Award

Created in 2002, the Distinguished Service Award is the NACS Foundation’s highest honor. The award recognizes the devotion, service, and visionary leadership given to the Foundation. Presentation of The NACS Foundation Distinguished Service Award is made at CAMEX.

In honor of his service to the Foundation, the NACS Foundation Board of Directors renamed the award as the Brian Cartier Distinguished Service Award in 2016.
